  • As per Ministry of Health & Wellness regulations, the pre-travel health declaration form is not required for the time being but it is mandatory for all passengers to fill-in the health declaration form upon arrival. Passengers should also be in possession of a COVID-19 PCR test of less than 5 days prior to the time of embarkation.

  • A protocol has been put in place by the cleaning contractor to ensure that equipment and infrastructures are sanitized in a consistent manner. All areas with high human contact and transmission potential are cleaned and disinfected, based on operational risk assessment. This applies to such items as boarding gates, self-kiosks, escalator, lift, handrails, wheelchairs, trays, passenger trolleys among others. An attendant is posted at all time at critical points for ensuring continuous cleaning and disinfection. A written plan for enhanced cleaning and disinfection is in place and is being updated continuously in term of process, schedule and products, as and when new information is available. A check-list / control sheet has also been put in place to ensure compliance. All cleaning staffs are regularly briefed with regard to the effective use of disinfectants and importance of the sanitary protocols.

  • A protocol has been set out in the 'COVID-19 Sanitary Preparedness Plan' whereby it is mandatory for all retailers operating within the Airport Compound to adhere to the 1-meter physical distancing by placing appropriate space marking. The acceptance capacity of the lounges/dining/boarding areas has been reviewed so as to respect the physical distancing rule of 1-meter. The Health & Safety Audit Team also makes regularly inspections to ensure social distancing measures are being adhered by the retailers

  • Automatic hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed at all primary entry points and in close proximity to touch points such as check-in desk, Passport & Immigration Desk, Security control points and boarding gates.

  • There is a main first aid post located at the ground floor of the terminal and a secondary post at the departure level. The medical post is equipped with the essential medical equipment and has an ambulance on standby. There is also the presence of Doctors and Health Assistant on a 24/7 basis.A procedure on medical fast track for sick passengers is already in place to deal with health emergencies as well a procedure to manage suspected case of COVID-19 onboard aircraft and within the passenger terminal. Necessary arrangements are being made for the setting up of a COVID Laboratory at the Airport.

  • There are hotlines at various locations in the Passenger Terminal and same are connected to the Control Centre of Operations (CCO), which manages incoming flow of information and thereafter makes liaison with Stakeholders concerned. This not only serves to provide assistance to users but can also be used to report suspected cases of COVID-19.

  • Currently the Airport apps is being reviewed but all information pertaining to the Airport Facilities are available on the Airport`s Website. Also, a way finding plan is physically displayed at various locations of the passenger terminal.

  • The Health and Safety Team provide regular briefing and updates not only to staff but also to stakeholders and contractors. Circulars, procedures and guidelines have been issued to staff/stakeholders with regard to COVID-19. For e.g. Sanitary Precautions for resumptions of office duty; Protocol for Travelling to work & back; Protocol on sanitary measures for staff among others. Enhanced briefings have also been provided to cleaning staff with regard to product use, disinfection process as well as the use of equipment.
