Massport has an comprehensive cleaning program for BOS and has additionally developed a touchpoint disinfection program with increased cleaning frequency and misting to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Cleaning and disinfection of high-touch areas like escalators, moving walkways, stairways, elevator vestibules, call buttons, etc is ongoing throughout the day. Security checkpoint surfaces are wiped and disinfected twice per day, and checkpoints and bins are misted with disinfectant nightly. Touchpoint surfaces in the restrooms, including counters, stall surfaces, and dispensers are disinfected at least hourly and misted nightly. Customer feedback tablets located in our restrooms were upgraded with software activating touchless QR codes. Boarding area surfaces including seating, stanchions, windows, receptacles, and glass panels are cleaned on an ongoing basis throughout the day and misted nightly.
