  • Health screening is required by the Turkish CAA in accordance with part 1.1.4 of HAD-2020/1 Pandemic Precautions and Certification Circular. Each pax or staff shall walk before a thermal camera at each entry point to the airport facilities. Airlines and tenants of the terminal building conduct additional fever checks with handheld fever measuring devices. The health screening at the entrance of the terminal (for departing passengers) is conducted by İGA Security staff. The health screening at the arrival floor of the terminal (for arriving passengers) is conducted by the staff of Ministry of Health. Mobotix and Flir Thermal Camera Systems are used to carry out health screening

  • Staff are screened for body temperature before they commence the shift/working. Each staff posses a health status pass code which is provided by MoH. Pass code is constantly monitored by a central processor. Should staff or anybody that is affiliated with that staff are diagnosed positive or forced to quarantine, that staff is forced to isolation and kept away from service.
