ACI Airport Health Measures Portal User Guide V.1

Background

The COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented crisis for the aviation industry, but recovery will happen by restoring public confidence in the health and safety of flying. Since the beginning of this pandemic and taking into account the fact that health measures keep changing from time to time, it’s become quite difficult for passenger to keep track on what are the latest requirements and more importantly whether the information is trustworthy.

As a result, passengers show up at airports with very limited or no information at all about the latest health measures at any given airports which lead to a bad passenger experience and other stakeholders may have confusion about the latest measures, creating operational friction for all parties involved.

ACI Airport Health Measures Portal

The Airport Health Measures Portal has been developed by the ACRIS community to benefit the airport community and the people they serve to help with the problems mentioned above.

The Airport Health Measures Portal is a secure online platform that allows airports to provide up to date health measures to their passengers and the other stakeholders involved. These health measures are based on a series of questions put together by ACI that covers a wide range of topics from passengers’ requirements to airport & employee safety measures.

Once the information uploaded on the portal has been submitted and approved it shall we available to the public via the Check & Fly app on their smart phones, the ACRIS website and as an API for the industry.
